Membership Freeze – Updated November 3rd, 2020
Members with Annual Memberships have the option to put their memberships on hold for a minimum of one month and a maximum of three months. Members can have multiple freezes (i.e. non-consecutive one-month freezes) as long as they do not exceed the maximum of three months. If a member wishes to freeze for longer than the maximum time provided, a fee of $50 will be charged each time. Freezes must be in weekly increments while abiding by the minimum and maximum time limits.
Members must notify the front desk of their absence in writing at least 1 week before they want the freeze to begin. Freezes will not be applied retroactively.
During the membership freeze, member cards and facility access will be suspended. If you have an annual bi-weekly membership, no payments will be processed while on freeze. If you have an annual paid-in-full membership, your contract expiry date will be extended to reflect the length of the freeze. The extended time cannot be re-frozen and must be applied at the end of the contract unless medical reasons do not permit use of the facility.
Memberships with multiple members must all freeze at the same time. Freezes can no longer be applied to individuals within a multi-member household.
No refunds will be issued for freeze time.
