We have a lot in store for you this fall. With a strong lineup of great quality programs, there is something that caters to everyone’s interests and fitness levels.
• When it comes to Physical Literacy and Canadian Sport for Life (CS4L) programming in the Atlantic provinces, we are still leading the way. Everyone can benefit from becoming more physically literate, and we’re working towards enabling physical literacy at any age, not just for children.
• Along with all of the popular Karate, Play School, Tennis and Dance programs (just to name a few), we’re excited to offer two new levels of Wrestling (Silver/Gold and Open Wrestling), and the Adventures: Multi-Sport program, the next level for our Explorers: Multi-Sport participants.
• We have a great lineup of Fitness programs this fall, including eight Adult Fitness Programs, three Pre- and Post-Natal programs, four yoga programs, and introducing 1-hour Adult Workshops. Also new are are fitness services like Fitness Assessment & Program Design and Youth/Elite Sports Performance Training. It’s one of our biggest Fitness Programming seasons yet!
• Our swim lesson program has made an exciting step to becoming more inclusive. With the introduction of the Swim Whisperers training for our staff, we are now offering Inclusion Days (Wednesdays & Sundays) that will enable those with Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, sensory & motor limitations and general behaviour challenges the opportunity to learn to swim as part of group lessons.
